Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji has been leaving the audience spellbound with her powerful performances in female centric stories. Her recent release Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway, has certainly left a huge impact on the audience as the movie told the story of a mother going to every length to protect her kids.
When asked if her 7-year-old daughter Adira Chopra has watched the film, in an interview with ETimes, Rani revealed that she hasn’t. The doting mommy went on to share that the little girl is still too young to differentiate between her being an actress and mother. So while the little princess had accompanied her mother for shoots, she would start crying when her mother cries on screen. Quoted by BollywoodShaadis, the 45-year-old actress said, “She was there on the shoot, but she's not seen the film. She's still very young and she can't alienate me as an actor and me as a mother. So, if she sees me cry on screen, she will start crying, so Adira has not seen the film.” ALSO READ: WHAT? For the unversed, Rani married filmmaker Aditya Chopra in 2014 and the happy couple welcomed their daughter in 2015. The parents have done their best to keep the little muchkin away from the judging eyes of the netizens.
On the work front, Rani was last seen in ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway,’ a movie based on the real-life case with Sagarika Bhattacharya, whose kids were taken away by the Norwegian Child Welfare Services on the grounds of improper treatment. Directed by Ashima Chibber the movie was released on the big screen on March 17th.
